Dear Colleagues,

The University of the Sciences invites applications for a postdoctoral researcher to explore the activation and functionalization of small molecules using bimetallic group 9 and 10 transition metal complexes and/or the synthesis and reaction chemistry of novel group 6 organometallic compounds in the research group of Professor Nathan West. The project will focus the design and synthesis of new catalysts followed by mechanistic investigations to understand how the catalysts work. The postdoctoral researcher will be expected to mentor 1-2 undergraduate researchers in addition to conducting their own research. The initial appointment is for a period of 12 months.

The successful applicant will have received PhD in Chemistry before beginning the appointment, and will have a strong background in inorganic or organometallic chemistry. Curriculum Vita (CV) and references should be sent to n.west@usciences.edu.
