A postdoctoral position at the Univ of Rhode Island
Postdoctoral Position
A postdoctoral position is available at the University of Rhode Island
to work on the development of lithium-ion battery electrolytes and the
reactions of the electrolyte with the surface of the electrode
materials. Experience with manipulation of air sensitive compounds using
glovebox, Schlenk, and high vacuum techniques, characterization of
compounds using NMR and IR, surface analysis using XPS and SEM, thermal
analysis using DSC and TGA, and electrochemical analysis using CV are
desirable. The starting date should be during Fall 2009.
