postdoc at BU

A postdoctoral position is available in the Doerrer group at Boston
University. Candidates must be able to start no later than 1 June 2009, and
earlier is preferable. Experience in inorganic synthesis in air and under
N2 (drybox and/or schlenk line) is required. Position is initially for 12
months with the possibility of extension up to a total of three years if
goals of industrial funding body are met. Candidates should send CV and

Dear Colleagues,

A postdoctoral position in the area of  "Micro- and Nanosensors for Oil and
Gas Exploration and Production Applications" funded by the AEC (Advanced
Energy Consortium) is available in the Doerrer group at Boston University
starting immediately.  Experience in inorganic synthesis in air and under N2
(drybox and/or schlenk line) is required.  Familiarity with metal-oxide
nanoparticles and/or scanning probe microscopy is a plus.  Position is
initially for 12 months with the possibility of extension up to a total of
three years if goals of industrial funding body are met. Candidates should
send CV and names of three references to doerrer@bu.edu .
